Did you read the title of this recipe? I mean, come on! Just make them already! Eat them all! Why are you even still reading this?
As many fresh figs are you want to eat
Enough goat cheese to stuff your figs (you can also use manchego or mascarpone)
Enough prosciutto slices to wrap your figs (1/2 slice per fig)
Just a few steps to one of the best things you have ever put in your mouth:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Slice figs in half or quarter them, leaving the bottom still connected.
Take a small scoop of goat cheese and put between fig slices (like you are making a peanut butter sandwich with the cheese being the butter and the fig the bread).
Wrap fig completely in 1/2 slice of prosciutto.
Note: If you are concerned about prosciutto coming unwrapped, you can place a toothpick that you pre soaked for 15 minutes through the whole thing to hold, but we don’t think this is necessary.
Place these little bundles of delight on a roasting tray.
Roast for 20-30 minutes or until the prosciutto has crisped nicely.
Serve to your friends and become everyone's favorite person. Or don’t invite anyone over and eat them all yourself. We won’t judge.
